For when you recognise when musculoskeletal health problems are just one diagnosis amongst many.
This workshop focusses on some of the more common comorbidities encountered alongside with msk conditions including metabolic comorbidities, frailty, elderly patients (including polypharmacy and impact of age etc on medication), psychosocial factors and your role in managing this as an FCP.
We’ll explore consideration of role and responsibilities as an FCP – what to look for, who to get involved (wider practice team, Community Rehab Teams, social prescribers etc), screening and early identification.
You’ll participate in workshop exercises around cases considering referral pathways, MDT approaches, risk management, and health promotion (exercise medicine etc).
